We saw for the first time a serious split in the DPS group at such an important vote. Unfortunately, Bulgaria is hostage to the hatred of two people. One with his addictions, the other with his ambitions. I personally strongly doubt that a third term is possible. Even so, he would be highly illegitimate. A third or fourth political force with 30 MPs cannot try to form a cabinet.

Rosen Zhelyazkov did not collect the necessary votes to be prime minister. He was supported by 98 deputies - the entire GERB-SDS group and 30 from the DPS. 138 voted "against", as together with PP-DB, "Vazrazhdane", BSP, ITN, "Velichie" both independents, the red button pressed and 14 from DPS. Two were "abstained" - 1 from DPS and 1 from PP-DB.
