They appointed seven new regional governors  - 1

By decision of the government, seven new regional governors were appointed – of the districts of Vratsa, Montana, Razgrad, Smolyan, Stara Zagora, Shumen and Yambol, with the same decision releasing the incumbents, reported BNT.

Nikolay Nikolov has been appointed regional governor of Vratsa region. He is a financier by education. Since 2023, he has been the deputy regional governor of the Vratsa region. Before that, he worked for six years in the same regional administration in the field of administrative control and regional development.

Kalin Haitov has been appointed district governor of the Montana region. Until now, he held the position of deputy district manager in the same district. He was a teacher at the vocational gymnasium “Prof. arch. Stefan Stefanov“ in Montana. He graduated from the "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse.

Sevdzhan Sudkeev has been appointed regional governor of Razgrad region. He has extensive administrative experience. Acquires educational qualification degree “Master“ in the specialty “Industrial Management“ from the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev“.

Rumen Pehlivanov was appointed regional governor of Smolyan region. He is an economist by education. He has many years of management experience. In the period 2001 – 2023 he was the mayor of Rudozem municipality, and between 2003 and 2007 – chairman of the municipal council in the same municipality.

Metodi Markov was appointed district governor of Stara Zagora district. He has an educational and qualification degree “Master“ in the specialty “Public Administration“ from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sofia. He is a long-term employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. From 2011 to 2018, he was the deputy mayor of the municipality of Maglizh.

Beynur Ahmed has been appointed the district governor of Shumen district. For nearly 15 years, he worked in the Shumen municipality, and from 2013 to 2015 he was the chief secretary of the Shumen Regional Administration. He graduated from the “Eposcop Konstantin Preslavski”.

Nikolai Kostadinov has been appointed as the regional governor of Yambol region. He has a university degree in law. Since 2023, he has been the deputy regional governor of Yambol region. Before that, for nearly seven years he was a senior legal advisor at the Labor Inspection – Yambol city.
