Until now, the BSP was a party with a different morality and a different status, and now they are making it a clientelistic party that serves the interests of Delyan Peevski, Boyko Borisov, or someone else.
Rumen Ovcharov, a member of the National Council of the BSP, stated this before the BNR.
"What new are the new leaders of the BSP proposing? What's new when they built the entire clientele of Borisov, Peevski, and Rumen Radev - both the first and second generation of Rumen Radev's clientele are standing in the National Council and serving themselves. From now on, I predict a lower result for the BSP in the next election. There is a coup in the BSP by people who until that day hid behind Cornelia, they didn't have the courage to do it earlier, and after she resigned", he commented.
Ovcharov specified that his opinion, which he has repeatedly stated in public, is that Kornelia Ninova should have resigned as party chairman 3 years ago, but then everyone "who now cleaned up the coup meekly pressed around Cornelia, trying in every way to serve her".
"The new BSP leaders are very afraid that if Ninova decides to run for a third term, they cannot stop her, because her authority in the party structures is incomparable to theirs. That's why they try to somehow eliminate it, but they do it in a way that is more incorrect in terms of content, because in this way they bring it back as trust among people and as authority," he thinks.
A new chairman of the BSP must be elected before the Congress of the party in November, Ovcharov stressed and specified that this congress has not yet been convened.
"Delyan Peevski is toxic and there will be no cabinet with a DPS mandate. Rumen Ovcharov predicts that he will not become a government even with the third term", predicts Rumen Ovcharov and comments on the situation in the DPS with the words "this time it will not work out for Peevski".
This political class is the main reason for what is happening in Bulgaria, that is why people do not go to vote, he stressed.
According to him, only with elections can something be decided, not with agreements and meetings between "corrupt politicians who do not think about the state".
