The chairman of DPS Delyan Peevski rejected the claims of the other chairman - Jevdet Chakarov, that he was threatened, reports BNT.
"What they do, they try to attribute. Their conscience is bullying everyone. Chakarov, who sits and pressures everyone and threatens? I don't even want to comment on these things...Certain people want to destroy DPS.
What I read, I can't believe that the Honorary Chairman is doing this. I have always been in favor of unification and I continue to be in favor of unification. Whoever divides the party is at his own expense," Peevski said.
When asked by BNT if it was talk of waging war with the honorary chairman, Peevski answered:
"I am not at war with anyone. I want us to work for people and for things to work out.
Peevski added that DPS should have been a union. According to him, he and his supporters are not splitting the movement. He also commented on the expulsion of 17 MPs from the DPS parliamentary group this morning.
"The expelled 17 MPs practically excluded themselves by forming the DPS-17 faction. There is no room for stronger and weaker. What is happening is not for the benefit of the people. I will say one thing - a new beginning! You will find out soon," added Peevski.
