DPS chairman Jevdet Chakarov made his first comment after being expelled from the DPS parliamentary group.
He stated that this act, witnessed by all, is not legitimate and does not comply with the DPS statute. This act is under the pressure of fear, he pointed out to journalists on the sidelines of the parliament.
"We fully support the address of Dr. Ahmed Dogan, that we must return democratic principles to the DPS, to overcome fear and to have a normal functioning of the political power of the DPS,'' insists Chakarov, who is among those expelled from the PG of the DPS. together with 16 other MPs from the Movement. Thus, a total of 20 people's representatives in the 50th National Assembly are now independent and are not part of the DPS parliamentary group.
Chakarov indicated that after a thorough analysis with the help of lawyers, a position will be presented.
"You see what the style is, you see what the approach is, it is not acceptable. There are MPs threatened. There are threats directed at each of us, but let everyone imagine their position", Chakarov also pointed out.
