A fire broke out in a poultry farm in Konstantinovo, about 700 animals burned

Two fires have ignited in the Varna village of Konstantinovo.

The signal for one - in an agricultural building - was received at 12:30 p.m. A little later, a second signal was received - about a burning poultry farm in the village. At the moment, about 700 chickens have been burned there, the police in the sea capital told Radio Varna.

The fire also engulfed a small part of nearby vineyards. There is no danger for the village, the population and the houses, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs indicated.

There is a large team of firefighters and police officers at the scene. The mayor of the village of Konstantinovo, Dimitar Vladimirov, announced that the fire has already been brought under control. He thanked the volunteers who immediately responded to the call for help.

Dimitar Vladimirov added that dry grasses in the village caught fire, fields with baled wheat also burned. "The fire was extinguished with the help of four fire stations from Varna, as well as with the assistance of many volunteers," the mayor of the village of Konstantinovo also said.

He specified that one of the buildings of a poultry farm in the settlement was completely burnt, together with the chickens in it. "There is no danger to people's houses," Vladimirov emphasized.
