After a sunny start to the day, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours in there will be precipitation in many areas, intense in some places, accompanied by thunderstorms with hail conditions, BNT reported.
Maximum temperatures will drop to between 33° and 38°, in Sofia – about 33°. It will remain windy, with a moderate northeasterly wind.
Slight cooling also along our Black Sea coast, where there will also be showers and thunderstorms in the second half of the day. A light to moderate northeasterly wind will blow, but the sea swell will remain light.
Decreasing temperatures also in the mountains, where in the afternoon it will rain and thunder in many places.
A change in weather also begins in the Balkans, where there will also be areas of rain and thunder and maximum temperatures will drop. It will still be sunny and hot in the southern parts of the peninsula.
In the coming days, temperatures will continue to drop in our country. There will be areas of showers and thunderstorms. There is an increased probability of local intense phenomena, on Saturday and Sunday in more places in Western and Northern Bulgaria, and at the beginning of next week - in almost the entire country.
With the coming cooling, as well as the expected precipitation, the areas of extreme fire risk, the areas in red on the map, will decrease.
