Nikolay Markov: I am not a person to be managed by phone - 1

I think that what is happening in the Bulgarian parliament is a healthy process, even what happened here . And what happened with DPS is the healthiest process in the last 35 years. This was stated in "The day begins with Georgi Ljubenov" the independent deputy Nikolay Markov, who was excluded from "Velichie".

Markov explained the discord with his fellow party members as follows: "I am a person who is not governed by telephone and when I have made commitments to be a representative of the people, I represent the people, not some other oligarchic interests.

He stated that he was not a member of the party, although he was announced as its chairman, and called for questions from now on to be addressed to Albena Pekova or "who represents this organization".

"If our series is Venezuelan, theirs is Turkish and unsurpassed in all paragraphs" - this is how Markov commented on the rift in DPS, quoted by BNT.

Markov stated that the actions he performed while he was in a parliamentary group were entirely for the benefit of the Bulgarian state and nation.

"I did my job perfectly, I'm happy with what they did, although most of it is unknown. The president said - you messed up the parliamentary arithmetic and that's the best thing I've heard.

When asked if he will run for new elections with his own party, Markov replied that he probably won't have the technical time. However, he hinted that there are various options to appear with another party, but he did not want to go into details because he does not want "more of the same" to happen to him.

"It is not important whether I will appear, the important thing is that I am convinced that in this historical moment, in which we appeared on the stage, we played a unique role in Bulgarian political life.

Nikolay Markov also commented on his delay on the first day of the parliament, when he failed to take the oath as a deputy. Although he had previously stated that he was pressured with classified documents in order to support the GERB-SDS cabinet, today he indicated that his delay had nothing to do with the "big processes".
