According to him, 50-60 meters from the logistics center, which was also caught in a fire, there is a large facility with ammonia, but the firefighters did not allow it to catch fire.
„The owner of “Enigma”, apart from professionally and officially, I also know him purely as a person. I think he is one of the rare people in the country. I live this tragedy because it is connected with human lives. They ensured the safety of the events they were engaged in, they reinsured themselves”, he said.
„I immediately called the owner to ask if there was any ammunition inside. He was adamant that he wouldn't. I have entered the warehouses before, I have seen a very serious line inside”, added the mayor.
He explained that about 30 houses were damaged, and there were as many more that were to be inspected: „There are experts because it was seen that there are places where people say that the explosions caused damage, but they are old, not from now. The chain's logistics center has insurance to cover the damage to the roof. The Commission for Disasters and Accidents will decide what funds to allocate to citizens with damage to their homes.”
„I have not argued with Minister Kalin Stoyanov. There is no colleague in the country who has something like this and has to cancel his vacation.
