BGN 1,500 for a child's examination. He who has money will live!? Cynicism has become a norm of behavior! There is no country and this is the clearest sign of its absence!

With these angry words, he expressed his indignation at the helplessness of the institutions and the anarchy that the “changers“ Bulgaria for the last three years, Vice-Chairman of VMRO Carlos Contrera.

Our healthcare system is crumbling before our eyes. This is a sure sign that practically the state as a set of institutions is not functioning, he also wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, the state should oblige medical practices to at least announce a price list. After all, one should at least know how much one is expected to pay and for what.

This is a detail of the whole grotesque picture.

Parliament slams nursing shortage. He would oblige the government to solve the problem. It is as if it is a matter of a one-time act, and the missing 30,000 nurses for the health system, we will draw them. A complex of legislative, administrative and social measures is needed to solve this and other similar crises. This means systematic work, and not a quick decision by an empty parliament, the vice-chairman of VMRO is also categorical.

Carlos Contrera recalls some of the proposals of VMRO - Bulgarian National Movement on the subject of health care and citizens' access to treatment:

Increasing the basic salaries of doctors; Determination of a second category of work for the medical staff in state and municipal hospitals and DCC, as well as in emergency care; minimum monthly wages: Health workers and ambulance drivers - BGN 1,500; Nurses, midwives, laboratory assistants, paramedics, paramedics – BGN 3,000; Doctors – BGN 4,500; Docents – BGN 6,000; Professors – BGN 8,000.

Separately, we offer a program for preferential rent of municipal and state housing for doctors who work in state and municipal medical facilities.

Normal access to medicines. The sick are hostages of the drug importers. When the state is gone, the cartels rule.

From VMRO we offer the solution - the "Bul Bio" trading company – NCZPB“ EOOD is 100% state-owned. The ownership rights of the state are exercised by the Ministry of Health. “Bull Bio“ manufactures over 600 medicinal products and medical devices, and is also a registered wholesaler.

The company can serve as the basis for building a completely new model of drug supply for life-saving medicinal products that are paid for by the NHIF. Through the state company “Bul Bio– NCZPB“ the state can directly buy the so-called risky drugs and distribute them to the pharmacy network. This will break the pharmacy cartel and guarantee citizens that drugs for diabetics, cancer patients and others will be available.

For this purpose, it is necessary to build a structure, investment in transport and bases in the country, from which pharmacies can be filled.

The idea is insulins and other life-saving medicines, which are paid for by the NHIF,

to be distributed to pharmacies by the state through the company “Bul Bio“,

which will work directly with the PRU, becoming a real competitor to wholesalers.

In this way, it will be guaranteed that the necessary quantities of drugs will be distributed in pharmacies, instead of being kept in warehouses and subject to re-export.

In order to provide cheap medicines for people living in places without pharmacies, the state should:

- To provide free state premises in which to open pharmacies.

- To exempt companies that provide this service in sparsely populated areas from profit tax for the relevant object.

- To subsidize the transport of supplier companies for the delivery of medicines to sparsely populated areas.

- The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy should provide up to BGN 2,700 for the hiring of legally competent persons for these sites.
