Kilometer-long queues continue at the Bulgarian-Greek border at the "Kulata - Promakhon" checkpoint, reports "Focus". Commuters wait for hours to cross into our southern neighbor.
Drivers say that crossing the border takes over an hour and a half. Users of social networks also say that temperatures in the sun reach 41 degrees.
Both cars and trucks are waiting to pass. A column has also formed in the nearby village of Kulata, which also leads to the border crossing.
In July, through the checkpoint "Promahon" 2.1 million people have passed. In June, the traffic through the point was 1.15 million people, i.e. a total of 3.25 million people passed through there during the first two summer months of the year.
