After Kiril Petkov had an absolutely normal meeting with the head of the Agency on Friday "Road infrastructure" and wrote quite telegraphically about the progress of an important infrastructure project for Pernik, at 21:38 the ministry published a position (according to Petkov - after a call from Borisov) that it would not allow "interference in the work", "to interfere" etc.
This is a template. Every meeting, every telephone conversation, every attempt to do something useful can be used to accuse us of "interfering with work", of "pressure", of "interference". Even with more creativity, pre-trial proceedings can be initiated for "making threats".
This is what Bozhidar Bojanov from the PP-DB wrote on his Facebook page, after Kiril Petkov's meeting on Friday with the head of the API and the subsequent reaction from various institutions. Here's more from Bojanov's post:
This is also a message: to us, not to talk to anyone, because then we will have a media problem. And to the civil servants - not to talk to us, because then they will be scolded (at best).
We will not stop exercising our powers as representatives of the people. We will not stop trying to solve the problems that are the result of decades of unreformed institutions. And we are not worried that a calm conversation will be followed by a briefing or a press release for "pressure" and "intervention". This template sounds more and more hollow and the citizens laugh at them.
