From August 20 to September 14 inclusive, a temporary organization of traffic is introduced in public transport with changed routes of trolleybus numbers 1, 5, 7 and 11 in Sofia, the Center for Urban Mobility (CMG) stated on its official Facebook page, BTA reported.
As a reason for the temporary organization of traffic, CMG points to the start of the second stage of the reconstruction of “Oplchenska“ from "Alexander Stamboliyski" Blvd. to “Slivnitsa“ Blvd.
For the same period of time, bans on the entry of vehicles into this section are also introduced, the CMG announcement also states.
The reconstruction activities of “Oplchenska“ will also affect the routes of bus lines 60 and 74.

On July 18, the first stage of the complete reconstruction of “Oplchenska“ Street began. from the intersection with “Slivnitsa“ to Todor Aleksandrov Blvd. The entire renovation is scheduled to be completed by March 2025.
