Criminalist Ivan Savov: It is convenient that Kalin Stoyanov is Peevski's man, but it is not proven - 1

"I have no words with which to accurately describe the situation of the last weeks", said criminalist Ivan Savov in the program "Denyat ON AIR", asked about the political situation in the country and the refusal of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov to leave the chief post in the Ministry of the Interior.

In the studio, he read Elin Pelin's 100-year-old poem "Cal" and emphasized that today it sounds "horribly relevant".
"The Bulgarian mentality has not moved a millimeter. We see cartwheels and fair talk from people who are supposed to represent the institutions. I am also referring to the president, who according to the Constitution should be the unifier of the nation. The Bulgarian people are divided according to all possible criteria. The demon of politics is the minister of internal affairs - because of the mud," commented Savov to Bulgaria ON AIR.

"After the end of the municipal elections, Stoyanov said that attempts were made by all parties to buy votes. I have information that this is when things went downhill. Kiril Petkov almost said: "You are our minister, how are you going to speak against us, you should have said that we are not the only ones." Then they tried to cook him with the fiasco in front of the BFS. It turned out to be the responsibility of the chief secretary, who is a politically pushed figure by the partners of "We continue the change", the criminal expert also said.

Savov is of the opinion that now everyone washes their hands of the Minister of Internal Affairs, who does his job conscientiously.

It is convenient that Stoyanov is Peevski's man, but it is not proven
"It is convenient for him to be Peevski's man, which, however, is not supported by any evidence. The minister is politically bound, this is the characteristic of his position. It is high time for the immature Bulgarian people to judge people by what they do, not by what they try to instill in them. My colleagues claim that this is the time when they took a break from terror towards them by various politicians," he stressed.

Savov noted that the main driver of the existence of the parastate is power and money. Our only power structure that can exert pressure is the Ministry of Internal Affairs. That is why it has always been a goal, Savov is convinced.

According to him, ordinary policemen have long understood that they are a bargaining chip in the whole circus and have the right to protest.

"They were not on the street to protect the minister, but to show their disapproval of being used politically. They wanted to keep this guy because he made an effort to normalize the system. What is the logic of removing a person who has already organized two elections?", concluded Savov.
