Residents from several Svishtov villages blocked the road Pleven - Ruse, BNR reports. Their dissatisfaction is caused by the lack of water. They demand that the institutions solve the problem by completing the supply pipes and replacing the outdated water supply network in the settlements.
Residents of the villages of Hadjidimitrovo, Gorno Studena, Kozlovets and Morava block the main road once again. They note that the local water sources have almost dried up and the water supply network is constantly failing. According to them, the water losses are huge, and the established water regime is not respected.
The protesters are of the opinion that the institutions are passing the ball to each other, and the municipality and the waterworks are not doing their job. Some projects are being made which, as a final result, complement them.
The mayor of Hadjidimitrovo, Emil Todorov, sees the replacement of part of the water transmission network in the village and the bringing of a new water source as a possible solution to the problem.
