Kalin Stoyanov must decide whether he wants to be a politician or whether he wants to be an official minister of an extremely knotty a post that should guarantee the fairness and transparency of elections. This was stated by the interim chairman of the BSP, Atanas Zafirov, in an address to the current acting Minister of the Interior.
We remind you that Stoyanov provoked political tension, and his presence in Gorica Kojareva's draft cabinet was the reason why President Rumen Radev refused to sign the decree for his appointment. A new attempt has been made, for the second term of the current acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, as the expectations are that Stoyanov will be replaced, despite the protests of the uniformed.
"We have a very clear position regarding Kalin Stoyanov, while he was a minister in Mr. Glavchev's cabinet. The last actions of the acting Minister of Internal Affairs show that the position of the BSP was correct," said Zafirov, who visited the Zhabokrek area on the occasion of the anniversary of the action of the partisans of the Rilo-Pirinsky detachment, led by commander Vasil Demirevski-Zhelio.
„We hope that the prime minister will hear the call of society and all those people who clearly and categorically stated such a position, and Kalin Stoyanov will not be part of the next cabinet. If it stays, it would mean another, this time quite severe political crisis, which will really turn into a constitutional one with a very unclear ending," said Atanas Zafirov, quoted by BTA.
"In order to have a successful government, to have a dialogue, the parties must first start talking to each other," added Zafirov and called for a high voter turnout in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
