In about ten minutes, the second official cabinet of Dimitar Glavchev was sworn in before the deputies in the National Assembly.
This was reached after the head of state Rumen Radev issued two decrees earlier today – to appoint a caretaker government and schedule elections for October 27.
Until Glavchev's second term as acting president. Prime Minister of Bulgaria came to an end after the president's refusal to sign the decree appointing the cabinet of Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva because of her choice of Kalin Stoyanov as interior minister.
In the new design cabinet of Dimitar Glavchev, the director of the National Directorate of Internal Affairs, Atanas Ilkov, was nominated as Minister of Internal Affairs.
