Peevski controls the services, the judicial system, the prosecutor's office, currently to a large extent the official government. Whatever Peevski wishes, it happens. Peevski has a very strong influence in GERB", explained Ivaylo Mirchev and gave an example:
"Peevski is regularly in Borisov's office and MPs get used to it, with whom some conversations are held and certain decisions are reached. What is Peevski's job to be with Borisov all the time? Don't they have anything in common?".
We need to change the rules of the game, the deputy was categorical.
"If we want to continue the old way, the tandem Borisov - Peevski will continue. There are 2 questions in this tandem - how big is Peevski and will Borisov decide to separate from Peevski".
According to him, Peevski is nobody without his influence in the institutions that must guarantee statehood. According to him, a large part of the people in these institutions are dependent on Peevski, and that is exactly what needs to change. This is the old game, we have to change it, he declared.
According to him, Dimitar Glavchev has become acting prime minister again because all the others have been "prevented" by Peevski. And the "home book", in his words, was proposed by GERB and DPS.
