The big part of what happens in the country is related to what happens in DPS. This has always been the case over the years as the party has always been a factor in both parliament and government. The question is when did the DPS see who Delyan Peevski was. This is what journalist Asen Genov said in “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS.
„What is happening in the party system as a whole, happened in DPS as well. These are quicksands, and how do you build a government on quicksands”, said journalist Yuri Velev.
On the decision of the CSO and Ahmed Dogan Delyan Peevski to be excluded from the DPS, Genov said: “Things come down to who holds the Central Control Commission of the party. If Dogan has control over her, the decision can be made quickly. And vice versa – to drag on in time. From the action of the commission, we will find out whether Dogan has regained control over DPS”, Genov said.
Velev added that it is a legal case. “The question is when the court decision will come – whether it will be before the registration of the party for the elections and who will take the "DPS" brand, added the journalist.
Genov also commented on the candidates for European Commissioner. He believes that when we talk about a “career diplomat”, we are talking about certain cliques in the Foreign Ministry. “This definition has no added value”, the journalist also said.
Velev pointed out that the more important topic for society is the lack of drinking water and problems with dams.
Genov believes that there are no political leaders in the country, and Velev expressed hope that in 6 months there will be no need to comment on election topics again.
