I hope next week that normal registration of the lists of individual parties in the Central Election Commission (CEC) will be carried out. This was said by Vice President Iliana Yotova, who is a guest of the 31st National Assembly of Karakachans in Bulgaria in the Karandila area near Sliven.
Iotova pointed out that the case with the scandals in the DPS has three aspects, as the first – the private legal, would not bother to comment. According to her, it is alarming that there should be a similar incident on the eve of the elections, because the stability of political parties is a guarantee for stable governance. The law-enforcement and justice-giving bodies must pass a tough test and prove that they can actually be a guarantor of the rule of law, the vice president added.
From September 2, the CEC began accepting documents for registration of parties and coalitions for participation in the early parliamentary elections on October 27.
According to the accepted timeline, the CEC should register the parties and coalitions for participation in the elections by September 11, writes BTA.
