On Tuesday, a coalition agreement between 20 political entities is to be signed from the left-center, continuing the talks with some of the parties to specify some details in connection with our joint appearance in the elections. This was announced at a briefing at the BSP headquarters by the party's acting chairman, Atanas Zafirov, after today's meeting of the National Council.
With a decision of the National Council, we have confirmed the schedule according to which we are moving towards the consolidation of the left political space, he pointed out.
We held today's Plenum in the conditions of a difficult political situation, which reflects on the state of the political forces, commented Zafirov.
Regarding today's decision of the BSP National Council, which voted for the expulsion of Kornelia Ninova from the party, Zafirov emphasized that the decision was made by a “categorical majority”. Georgi Svilenski, Ivan Chenchev and Krum Donchev are also excluded.
„To be completely democratic, all proposals were voted on separately. For the exclusion of Ninova, there are 105 votes "for", 16 "against". and 4 “abstained”, he pointed out. “You see that the speculation about lack of quorum and illegitimate decisions is refuted by an impressive majority,” explained Zafirov.
