Andrey Raichev: We will see Dogan in action, he is a master of quiet lines - 1

Ahmed Dogan is restoring his political form. His supporters are young people who speak self-critically. It is a high political technique not to mention the name of the chairman of the PG of the DPS. Dogan is a master of quiet lines, and now he is making an alliance against Peevski. He returns to his classic position of a true leader who works every day. We will see something unseen by the youth - Dogan in action. This is what he said in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria" sociologist Andrey Raichev on Nova TV.

In his words, there are data that predict a nine-party parliament. "Over 300,000 people are the DPS electorate, in North-West Bulgaria Peevski personally recruited voters. However, the main electorate are the victims of the Revival process - about 10,000 people, there the choice is Dogan or I don't vote. Otherwise, it seems to me 2:1 or 3:1 for the honorary chairman, although many want reconciliation, not to choose one of the two", he added.

In turn, political scientist Prof. Rumyana Kolarova believes that Dogan has lost a lot. "Not only from his halo and not only in politics, but also in the Turkish community. His behavior is interpreted as fear, you cannot explain why you are hiding. The division of the DPS electorate depends on where the local structure will go, not because of a leadership clash. It is not so important what preference the table has. There are probably activists and the country is on both sides, but the fight is for the distribution of the local asset", she emphasized.

For her part, sociologist Elena Darieva pointed out that Dogan bet on the symbolic, leading the lists in Kardzhali and Razgrad.

"Peevski's counter move is the promotion of Erol Myumyun - mayor of Kardzhali. In this MIR, the distribution of forces is 3 against 4 municipalities. It's a very technocratic approach, but it can be very effective. The biggest electoral reservoir is the acting mayors of municipalities, and this is one of the new moments in the election campaign. They have a strong majoritarian potential," she commented.
