On September 1, after a long illness, at the age of 92, the famous poet, writer and artist Ivan Trenev, the family announced.
He is the author of more than 50 books of poetry and prose, as well as books for children. His poetry has been translated into many European languages. He has also been honored with awards from a number of competitions.
Ivan Trenev is a holder of the Order "Cyril and Methodius" - first degree, member of the Union of Bulgarian Writers.
The pilgrimage will be on September 4 in a close family circle, his relatives announced.
