Mikhail Stavrev is leaving the parliamentary group (PG) of the "BSP for Bulgaria". The Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) Raya Nazaryan announced his application to leave the group at the beginning of the plenary session, BTA reports.
After the opening of the new session, the parliament will discuss a proposal by people's representatives from "Vazrazhdane" and "There is such a people" to produce a national referendum with a question: "Do you agree that the Bulgarian lev should be the only official currency in Bulgaria until 2043?".
The design decision is included in the program on the proposal of the parliamentary group (PG) of "Vazrazhdane". Today is the first Wednesday of the month and according to the rules of the National Assembly, parliamentary groups can propose items that must be included in the agenda.
At the request of the PG of "BSP For Bulgaria" today the parliament will listen to the acting ministers of the environment and water, Petar Dimitrov, of agriculture and food, Georgi Takhov, of energy, Vladimir Malinov, and of regional development and public works, Violeta Koritarova, about the deepening of the water crisis in the country.
From "There is such a people" have suggested that the MPs consider a draft decision instructing the Minister of Energy to remove the steam generators from the equipment intended for the "Belene" NPP, which is subject to negotiations for sale to Ukraine, pending the preparation of an analysis of the application of these steam generators for the needs of the NPP “Kozloduy“.
The proposal of the PG of GERB-SDS for the first Wednesday of the month is for the parliament to consider changes in the Law on the independent financial audit in the second reading.
The draft program, published on the Parliament's website, is for September 4 and 5. Among the items included in it are a draft decision to elect Boyko Rashkov as the chairman of the parliamentary committee for control over the security services, as well as a discussion of the second reading of changes to the Child Protection Act.
