Christian Vigenin: We did not renounce Nineveh, it turned against us. She resigned. Topic closed

We have reasons not to invite Mr. Kadiev to the reunion. He was on our lists, we made coalitions with his formation. He does not understand the meaning of what we are doing, commented Vigenin

I would suggest that we stop commenting on Mrs. Ninova. This is what Kristian Vigenin, MEP from the BSP, told the BNR.

"The way is clear. She has resigned. The National Council has elected a person performing the functions. Court appeals then began. She, along with three other people, were expelled from the BSP according to the statutes and rules. The topic is closed.

The situation in BSP is very different from that in DPS. All that remains is to finalize this legal saga, which began in July, and for things to continue according to the statute and the law.

At this moment, Atanas Zafirov represents BSP for Bulgaria before the CEC. Registration of our new coalition BSP - United Left is pending. The court already ruled at the beginning of July that Zafirov represents the party, but this decision was appealed, deliberately delayed in order to put the BSP's registration at risk. It is absurd to put the participation of the largest left-wing party at risk by someone who is not even a member!

We did not disown Ninova, she turned against us because we decided that we would not allow meetings of the National Council to be single-handedly scheduled, decisions of the Executive Bureau to be reconsidered. This is not a few people against Cornelia Ninova. The National Council appointed Zafirov as acting chairman.

He explained in the show "Sunday 150" what are the goals that led to the creation of a left union.
"We are all together and looking forward. Right now, the left forces are trying to get on solid ground. We are working on our platform. The mood inside the BSP is also changing. The left becomes a factor.
We have reasons not to invite Mr. Kadiev to the reunion. He was on our lists, we made coalitions with his formation. He doesn't understand the point of what we are doing. It is natural that the largest left party will have a leading role in this coalition. There is no way the BSP can be put in a subordinate position. But we work absolutely openly. I'm sure we won't get to a point where we dictate any policy. Only together can we represent an alternative for the management of Bulgaria. There will always be attempts to go back to the past, to look for past conflicts. As of today, these conflicts are closed.

We made a serious effort to unify the party internally. Step by step and the internal cracks are closing".

Vigenin is adamant that among the goals of the new left coalition will remain the dismantling of the model built by GERB.

"You will see no retreat from us on this. Anyone who embodies this model in the country cannot be our friend".

He pointed out that the arrangement of the sheets is not yet clear.

Our intention is for this to be a project that we will continue to develop in the coming years, explained Vigenin.

We intend to return the old texts of the Constitution. We will work for this, he also pointed out.
