A large part of Dobrich will be without water today and tomorrow due to repair work on two the water supply. This was announced on their sites by “Water supply and sewerage– Dobrich“ AD (Waterworks) and the Municipality of Dobrich, BTA reported.
It is stated that the reason is the execution of construction and assembly works on the reconstruction of the main water supply along the street “San Stefano” in the section of “Lyuben Karavelov“ to the "Third of March" boulevard. Water supply will be stopped at 8:00 AM today and will resume after 5:00 PM tomorrow. The areas without water in this interval are Central City, Residential District “Russia 1“, Residential District “North 1, 2, 3 and Northern Industrial Zone.
Today, there will be no water in the areas of the "Zapad" residential district, the "Riltsi" district. and part of the Western Industrial Zone. There, the water supply will be suspended due to construction and installation works on the reconstruction of the water supply along the street “Han Tervel” in the section between “Dobrudzha“ Blvd., “Zdravets“ and “Armeyska St. Water supply to the mentioned neighborhoods will be resumed after 5:00 PM today.
In mid-July in Dobrich, signatures were collected for filing a collective complaint against the waterworks operator due to the lack of water for a long time in some neighborhoods. At a meeting between the regional governor Rumen Rusev, the organizers of the subscription and the management of the water company, Rusev recommended to “Water Supply and Sewerage (Water Supply and Sewerage) - Dobrich” AD to improve communication channels and provide information to the population in a timely manner.
