„ 2007 was the year in which we announced a goal that seemed impossible to us at the time, a salary of BGN 400 for teachers. Today things are different in times. And the trend is to increase. The shortage of personnel in education can be treated in this way, but not only in this way. Because for whatever salary you put a person in this environment, it is quite possible that he will last for a very long time”, noted Manolov.
Dimitar Manolov pointed out that the dialogue on the minimum wage needs strong leadership.
„It is wrong to consider that a salary should increase only with inflation. There are other factors that should influence wage growth. And it would be foolish to try to summarize them and collect them in two or three universal factors, because this is not true, he specified.
"Several times so-called "updating pensions" were done, which would not have had to be done at all if the formula was different. It is very simple. The growth of the insurance income is a sufficient element, because it includes inflation," commented Manolov.
