The first meeting of the Plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council ( SJC), specifically for proposals for candidacies for chief prosecutor, none were submitted.

A few days ago, a schedule was voted, according to which the election should be held on January 16.
According to the chronogram with dates in four consecutive meetings until October 10, applications can be submitted. October 24 is the deadline for candidates to submit concepts, and the SJC has an obligation to publish them. By November 26, two of the commissions of the Prosecutor's College should accept reports on the professional and moral qualities of the candidates, to be discussed at a meeting of the college a day later.
On December 5, the Plenum of the SJC must specify a time for hearing the candidates. The deadline for submission of opinions and questions to the candidates is January 8, 2025, and on January 16, a hearing and voting of the candidates should take place.
