There is no war in the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. This was commented in Veliko Tarnovo by Yordan Tsonev from Delyan Peevski's wing in the party.
"DPS - A New Beginning" will continue what was started a year ago - to renew and reform the party, said Yordan Tsonev, who will be the leader of the lists in Veliko Tarnovo and Varna:
"He who wants to change the country must first change himself. We are changing our party and coming out with a pretense that people will trust us in order to change Bulgaria.
Yordan Tsonev did not want to predict how many MPs the "DPS - New Beginning" is expected to have. in the 51st Parliament.
On the division in DPS between Ahmed Dogan and Delyan Peevski, he commented:
"There are no factions. DPS is what we, the chairman Mr. Peevski, represent, with the only parliamentary group of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. We are the DPS, the farmers are on the other side".
When asked by the BNR how long the war in the movement will continue, Tsonev answered: "There is no war, we are moving forward and not looking back.
"DPS - A New Beginning" submitted his documents for registration of a full 16-member list in RIC - Veliko Tarnovo.
