Minister of the Interior Atanas Ilkov presented at a briefing the organizational measures taken by the Ministry of the Interior to ensure a peaceful and secure election process, Dariknews.bg reports.

From today, a 24-hour telephone line of the Ministry of the Interior will be opened.

"Each signal is monitored from its arrival until its completion in the system," said the acting minister.

On and after the election day, there will be mobile teams that will carry out their duties with the verification of signals that will come in on the election day, namely where we have doubts about any dependence or lack of competence, these officials will carry out checks that will be impartial.

The Ministry of the Interior, the Prosecutor's Office and the State Security Service will interact on a good level.

Tasks have been set for the heads of the regional directorates. "All persons who influence the election process and are involved in buying and selling by voice should be brought to the fore and active work on their monitoring should begin, the minister specified.

From today, the National specialized police operation started throughout the country. "There will be additional forces to the regional directorates from the "General Directorate of Gendarmerie", Ilkov said.

For those who have a problem with personal documents. "Each regional directorate will have staff available 24/7. "Citizens will have the opportunity to have personal documents issued in an urgent manner," said the official minister.
