Bulgaria has not taken the necessary steps to increase border security si. This was stated by former Deputy Foreign Minister Milen Keremedchiev in the “Interview in NOVA News”. He was commenting on the worsening situation in the Middle East, which brought together the executive, intelligence and parliamentary forces of the National Security Advisory Council in an emergency on Friday.
„We have to start with some good news – the political forces did not use the Council for pre-election rhetoric and were very moderate, without one, in support for this Council to come up with a common opinion. This is important, as now is not a time for politicking, but for a balance sheet”, said Keremedchiev.
According to him, the new bad news is that since the last council, which was on February 15, 2022, Bulgaria has not taken any measures to become more secure.
