Clogged ravines and indistinguishable drainage channels in Varna. The facilities are full of rubbish and, according to locals, create conditions for flooding in heavy rains.
One of the ravines in the Varna district “Briz” it has become an impenetrable jungle. All the vegetation clogs the waters that run off and this creates dangers, writes BNT. People are worried that with heavy rainfall, the gullies will quickly become silted up and cause flooding.
“This thing needs clearing. Who will clean it up? A stronger water if it comes?”.
“It has not been cleaned for at least a year and a half. - Is it supported? - No, who will maintain it?”.
“Cleaning downstairs – at First Linguistic, but not this part. It's generally bad here. - How long has it not been cleaned? - Maybe, since the beginning of the year”.
In addition to vegetation, drainage is also hindered by debris chambers. The municipality explained that the ravines in the city are cleaned every year.
And also - that a public order is about to be announced for the selection of a company that will remove the overgrown vegetation and the garbage in them. However, there are no deadlines.
