The prosecutor's office submitted the request for the permanent arrest of the representative Ceyhan Ibryamov. It is expected that the hearing in the case will be scheduled later today. Meanwhile, a protest in defense of Ibryamov is being held in front of the National Assembly. Supporters and representatives of the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" gathered in protest against his arrest.

On Thursday, both of Ibryamov's immunities were lifted following a decision of the CEC and the Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan. The wife of the accused Birshen Ibryamova announced a hunger strike until he is released.
"I expect Mr. Ibryamov, my husband, the worthy father of my children, to come out in an hour and be here next to us, in the square. "All his colleagues respect him, love him, know that he was recruited absolutely illegally," said his wife.
"We hope that Mr. Ibryamov will be released from court. We expect more people to join us," said a protester.
