Ivo Injev: I have no idea what the services in our country are doing at the moment

There will be an Israeli response to the Iranian attack from a few days ago. In Israel, they feel hurt that their defenses were partially breached. They will do their best to show that Tehran's claims that they have hardly "taught a lesson" of Israel so how to reduce its capabilities are greatly exaggerated. He said this in an interview for the show "Newsroom". on Radio "Focus" the journalist Ivo Injev.

According to him, it is still not clear how the situation in the Middle East would change after the US elections on November 5:

"But it is clear that the US administration is trying to minimize the options for a full-scale conflict to break out. The United States has no interest in such at the moment. The Iranians – too. They realize that Israel is an adversary that they can hardly deal with in purely military terms. The ballistic missile fire itself was a demonstration that 'yes, we are doing something, we are not helpless, we can provoke Israel's anger,' but that's it. In my opinion, the most likely part of the Iranian oil production and trading system related to the sale of oil will be attacked. It is so large, wide and spread out that it is absolutely indefensible to the capabilities of Israeli air attacks.

At this stage, the journalist does not see the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the conflict: "This seems possible to me only when Israel achieves its goals in Lebanon".

According to him, there is no reason in the statements about the Third World War in view of the escalation in the Middle East: "Such threats are rather the result of the impotence of some commentators who cannot invent anything other than giving themselves importance by constantly asserting how we are on the verge of destroying the world because one piece of shit or the other isn't behaving the way the commenter in question wants it to.

When asked about the actions of the Bulgarian authorities against the background of the geopolitical situation, Ivo Injev answered:

"I have no idea what the services in our country are doing at the moment. However, let's remember that exactly "Hezbollah" carried out that bloody attack on the airport "Sarafovo" since July 18, 2012, when five Israeli citizens and one Bulgarian died. For a long time, our authorities refused to agree with the information released by three intelligence agencies of allied countries (USA, Great Britain and Israel) within 24 hours. Hours after the attack, they literally pointed to "Hezbollah" as the perpetrator. It took our people in Sofia six months to agree to this, and only when the European Union accepted as a common position the recognition of the fact that a pro-Iranian extremist organization carried out this attack. I recall all this because even then no one expected that something like this could happen. I don't want to create tension, but you can expect anything from these people, you shouldn't let your guard down. Bulgaria's strength at the moment is that it is part of the EU and NATO, and this strength should be used in the most rational way. I hope this is clear to the people who govern and are responsible for the security of our country and the Bulgarian people.
