It turned out that the entire fence was in place, and if there were any compromised sections, they were restored within 24 hours. This is what acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said at the beginning of today's government meeting.
So for the barrier facility we can rest assured – it is there, it is present along the entire length of the Bulgarian-Turkish border, with one small exception at the Tundzha river, but there are 50 meters, which are compensated by patrols, said Glavchev.
Regarding the barrier facility, everything is fine at the moment, but in view of the development of events in the Middle East and potential migrant pressure, more decisions should be made, which are related to an increase in video surveillance, the number of people and vehicles , who are on patrol, the prime minister added.
In his words, as a result of the joint measures of the "Border Police", the Ministry of Defense and our partners from Turkey, the migrant flow has decreased by 71% compared to 2023.

Our main task is the organization of fair, free and transparent elections. According to the current legislation, elections are held in two ways – with paper and with machines. Our efforts, of the caretaker government and of the fellow ministers who deal directly with the elections, are to be conducted in the same way as the last ones were conducted.
