Stefan Yanev from "Bulgarian Rise": We are observing a Paragraph 22 - 1

We must talk to all political formations that enter the National Assembly. This is what he said in the show "Face to Face" the leader of “Bulgarian Rise” Stefan Yanev.

„ Our cause is Bulgaria – her future, the future of our children and grandchildren. This is the main focus of our program, which is oriented towards the people of Bulgaria and their future," he explained.

Stefan Yanev believes that in “the current political crisis, Bulgarian citizens are forced to vote according to their emotions, not based on rational proposals and ideas”.

„We observe a paragraph 22 – a sociology is emerging that reaches citizens through the media. People get disoriented and at some point start asking themselves: “Is this really so?“. Today I read a poll that says 11% will vote with “I do not support anyone” and I wonder who needs this“, he also said.

The leader of “Bulgarian Rise” drew attention to the fact that the number of those who do not support anyone are not removed from the composition of the National Assembly, because this is not provided for in the Electoral Code.

„The truth is that by voting with “I do not support anyone”, we do nothing. All we do is say, “We don't like any of you.“. This is not a solution”, he is categorical.

According to him, the political system in Bulgaria is too unstable, and there are many ambiguities in the Electoral Code, which as a result leads to petty-mindedness.

He recalled that as acting prime minister he did much more for Bulgaria than all other politicians. He also talks about European politics in the context of domestic political scandals.

„As acting prime minister, I have organized early elections. The fairness of these elections depends on all the institutions that are involved in their conduct, as well as on the citizens who are part of these institutions. Because if there is a party entity that wants to change or replace something, it needs people to do it. A man alone cannot do anything. The buying of votes is also organized by people, he pointed out.

Stefan Yanev is categorical that “the money that is given to buy votes is the money that did not reach the Bulgarian citizens”. He is adamant that the laws must be respected in order not to distort the vote.

The leader of “Bulgarian Rise” commented on what is happening in the DPS, stating that for him this is a “healing process”.
