The Ministry of Internal Affairs will present the results of the actions taken against vote buying before the elections on October 27, BNT reported.
At the beginning of the week, Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov reported that 30 people were detained during over 160 police operations, and 60 pre-trial proceedings were initiated for vote trading.
The specialized police operation on the territory of the whole country in connection with the buying and selling of votes started on September 27 - exactly one month before the elections. Pre-marked private addresses, as well as commercial establishments and gaming halls are checked. The last actions were in Varna, Haskovo and Blagoevgrad.
