Radev presents the national flag to the Antarcticers from the 33rd Bulgarian Polar Expedition

The ceremony will take place at 14:00 in the Coat of Arms Hall in the Presidency building.

The flag will be accepted by the head of the expedition, Prof. Hristo Pimpirev. For the third year in a row, our expedition will sail to the Ice Continent with the Bulgarian research ship "St. St. Cyril and Methodius“.

He reminds that Greece is about to send its scientists to Antarctica for the first time, who will be part of the next Bulgarian expedition and will travel on board the research ship "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". The information was announced by the president of the non-governmental organization “Greek Society of the Polar Zone" (Hellenic Polar zone society) Simeon Konstantinidis, retired officer of the Greek Navy with experience in oceanography and meteorology. He was a participant in the International Polar Conference for cooperation between the Balkan countries in the polar regions under the European programs EUPolarNet-2 and POLARIN, which was held in Aheloy at the end of September.
