< p>As of September 30, 2024, the average pension of one pensioner for the month is slightly below 929 BGN, and compared to the same period last year it is 101 BGN higher - this was reported by the National Social Security Institute, from where they provide information every month on the cash execution of the budgets of the social insurance funds. The data indicate that the total costs are over 18 billion BGN, with the most - almost 16 billion BGN - being for pensions. Expenditures for cash benefits and benefits increased by nearly BGN 332 million compared to the same period in 2023.

As of September 30, 2024, the total amount of reported revenues is BGN 9,604.4 million, which represents 74.6% of the plan for the year. The received revenues are BGN 1,316.0 million more than in the same period of 2023.

The number of pensioners for September 2024 is 2,047,486, or by 15,127 (0.7%) more compared to the same month of the previous year. The average monthly amount of pension for insurance length of service and age of one pensioner for September 2024 is BGN 1,025.49, and compared to the average amount for the same month last year, it has increased by BGN 116.17 (12.8%) .

The reported income in the Teachers' Pension Fund as of September 30 is in the amount of BGN 90.9 million, which represents 76.5% implementation of the plan for the year. About the Fund "Guaranteed receivables of workers and employees" reported revenues as of September 30 amounted to BGN 1,809.0 thousand, which represents 72.4% implementation of the plan for the year. The received revenues are BGN 462.7 thousand less compared to the same period of 2023.
