CEC: 26.25% voter turnout as of 4:00 p.m. The highest is in Smolyan - 32.33%, the lowest - in Sliven - 20.34% - 1

26.25% was the voter turnout at 4:00 p.m., the CEC announced. The highest is in Smolyan - 32.33%, the lowest - in Sliven - 20.34%, said CEC spokesperson Rositsa Mateva, quoted by BNT.

On the last vote on June 9, at this time, the voter turnout was 20.44%.

Voting has been suspended for a total of 95 machines - 91 in the country and 4 abroad. In the last election, by this time, there were 100 problematic machines.

The signals for the voting paper have been forwarded to the printing house of the BNB, said Rositsa Mateva. According to them, the cause of the problems is not in the paper. One of the assumptions is that it is possible that due to more frequent use, the rollers of the printers are contaminated, therefore the CEC has instructed that all printers be inspected before the vote.

As of 4:45 p.m., several complaints and 38 reports from citizens have been received. 19 of them have been referred to the RIC. Some of the signals are that people with TELK and students are not provided with the opportunity to vote. One voter in Varna is allowed to vote for regional mayor, but not for parliament.

There are also campaign alerts and pre-posted results on some sites.

"Election day is going normally, but it is coming to an end, so I call on all citizens who have not voted, to make an effort and go and do it," said Rositsa Mateva.
