It will take between 3 and 4 formations to form a government. He expressed this opinion in "The Day Begins" sociologist Parvan Simeonov from “Gallup International Balkan”.
"It is not yet clear whether we have an 8- or 9-party parliament. At a barrier of about 100,000 votes “Greatness“ can stay above the edge. The battle for second place is no longer a big intrigue, according to the latest results, PP-DB have a small lead over "Vazrazhdane". In a 9-party parliament, GERBs go up to 60 mandates. It will take at least 3 formations to form a government. And maybe 4", noted Parvan Simeonov.
Boryana Dimitrova from “Alfa Research” commented that the "red light" after the end of the election day is the result of the "anti-system radical players".
"Between a quarter or about 30 percent of the deputies in the parliament will be representatives of anti-system radical players. It is about parties “Revival”, MECH, “There is such a people” and “Greatness”. They all see their niche in remaining staunch opposition. Their political behavior will be that of a radical opposition and this presents other lines. The basic consensuses may begin to crack," said Boryana Dimitrova.
The electorate that does not vote remains huge, sociologists emphasized.
GERB will pass 600,000 votes compared to 550,000 in the last election. PP-DB is supported by 340,000 people, compared to 300,000 in the last election.
"In the summer, these parties hit the bottom, now they are slightly bouncing off it. But something else is more interesting. The DPS will have a total of 400,000 votes, which refutes the initial expectation that there will be a withdrawal of the electorate", according to Parvan Simeonov.
"On one side we have ethnic representatives, and on the other are highly radical representatives. We will have to look for an opportunity to talk with them," he added.
