I am glad, that the CEC sends 7 sections to the prosecutor. We from the Public Council to the Central Electoral Commission have targeted more sections – 11, in which, comparing the data from the video surveillance and the data from the section protocols, we find discrepancies and damaged parties. The problem is systemic, it is about the vote of the Bulgarian citizens, which turns out to be in the bin. This is what Tsvetelina Peneva said in the FACTS studio in front of Lili Marinkova.
There are scandalous irregularities in the sections, such as the transfer of votes from one political party to another. In the previous elections we had 50% wrong protocols and we have to think about some systematic solution to the problem and it is simple – we saw that when there was machine reporting of the results, there were no such errors, Peneva added.
It will be very interesting if the ballot bags are reopened in seats and then we will really understand how the sectional committees work. Our electoral code does not say anything about recounting and I do not understand why so-called manual counting is circulating in the public space. Only the Supreme Court can decide to carry out an inspection, explained Peneva.
