Peevski is isolated by himself . No need for a "sanitary cordon" around him to make it clear that nobody politically wants to work with him. This is what he said in “The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov“ on BNT the political scientist from "Gallup" Parvan Simeonov.
„Peevski is extremely energetic and growing, but he himself is isolated. There is no need for a sanitary cordon around him to make it clear that nobody politically wants to work with Mr. Peevski. It probably has its influence in other systems, far from only the party system. The battle for political survival is much better fought by Borisov, explained political scientist Parvan Simeonov.
From his words it became clear that the situation is difficult for the first political power.
„Borisov is also almost in a hopeless situation. With new elections, then maybe Peevski and MECH will grow, that is, it will be even more difficult for Borisov and he may have even fewer mandates, commented the political scientist.
The analyst expressed hope that there will be a government within this parliament, as politicians are really trying to work in this direction. According to him, it is normal for the parties to have definite positions.
„It is precisely in the game of appearing tough in the eyes of the other that politicians set such conditions for themselves. This is also the condition for Borisov to be prime minister, just a negotiating position. It does not seem logical to me that Borisov, with his inherent sense of public opinion, should seriously consider that he could be prime minister. Of course, in terms of preparation, he is a good candidate, but it seems to me that a more instrumental, managerial candidate from the circles of GERB is more suitable in this particular case”, comments Parvan Simeonov.
