„At the moment there is no signals that this parliament will produce a regular government, but let's give time to the parliamentary groups that are more to the right, because the profile of the majority is more like that”.
This is what the expert on constitutional law and human rights and deputy Assoc. told bTV. Natalia Kiselova.
Natalia Kiselova is also a nominee of "BSP - United Left” for the chairman of the 51st National Assembly.
„Whether I will be a candidate or not, this is a decision that will be made by our parliamentary group. This is not a competition that I am entering on a personal basis. This is a competition to show that the National Assembly can look different. Since the first and second force cannot be understood, we propose that it be someone a little smaller, so that this opens up the possibility of specific procedures within the framework of the parliament,“, the deputy pointed out.
In her words, if the president regains the authority to appoint and elect the official cabinet, this would reduce the tension regarding the election of the president, but in the future parliament.
According to her, there is not enough data for a complete cancellation of the parliamentary elections and for declaring the election result illegal. Partial counts may exclude results in individual sections in individual constituencies and may change the balance between parties in the 51st Parliament.
“Returning “Majesty“ in parliament it is possible but let's not predetermine because specific sections were taken out. If the Constitutional Court decides to open more bags, it may be found that there are more actual votes for other parties and this could raise the 4 percent barrier. The fact that after it is contested and these votes do not reach them and are added to their result does not mean that they will jump the barrier”, explained Nataliya Kiselova.
In her words, there are data on several types of violations in the elections on October 27. One of them is a crime and they should be prosecuted for it, she said.
„Through the video surveillance, we saw that members of sectional committees were filling out ballots. This could mean that they are either empty or invalidated by specifying another dash for party as we see them being entered on the left hand side. It is possible that they indicated more votes for a certain party, but they must match the number of voters, so it is possible that the ballots are empty and need to be filled in, explained Assoc. Sour.
