A total of 81 fires were extinguished during the past 24 hours on the territory of the country. Five people were injured. This was announced by the Main Directorate of "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population". (GDPBZN) to the Ministry of the Interior on its website.

A 30-year-old man was injured in a house fire in the village of Nikola Kozlevo, Shumen region. When trying to stop the fire in the house, the man received burns on his face and hands.

In another incident – in the village of Krusovitsa, Vratsa region, three people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded. They were transported to a medical facility before the fire brigade arrived.

A man was also injured in an accident in an apartment in Ruse. As of 4:59 p.m. Yesterday, the fire department in Ruse received a report of a fire in an apartment in the city. Upon arrival at the scene, after talking with the neighbors, it was established that an explosion was heard from the apartment and smoke was coming from the terrace. It was established that the tenant of the apartment was repairing a chainsaw and poured flammable liquids into the bathroom drain. As a result of the explosion, he was injured.

During the past 24 hours, firefighters responded to 234 reports of accidents.

There were 28 fires with direct material damage, of which 15 in residential buildings, five in auxiliary, temporary or temporary buildings and two in vehicles. There were 53 fires without material damage, of which 12 were in dry grass, forest litter and bushes, 24 in waste, 14 in cooking appliances and chimneys.

150 rescue operations and relief operations were carried out, of which two in flood, seven in vehicle crashes and nine in domestic or industrial incidents.
