Earlier today, GERB leader Boyko Borisov stated that the support of the party's deputies for the candidacy of Associate Professor Natalia Kiselova for the Speaker of the National Assembly is a big compromise.
In the words of Boyko Borisov, GERB-SDS did everything possible to overcome the parliamentary crisis. According to him, the other political forces elect an acting prime minister, not the speaker of the National Assembly.
"We proposed Borisov-Nazaryan, we withdrew them, we proposed Atanasov - they don't want him, associate professor Kiselova, we supported her too, what didn't GERB do yet. However, the goal is a caretaker prime minister".
