Vladimir Georgiev, BSP: People don't want elections, the home book must disappear - 1

< strong>"There is talk on the sidelines that ministries have already been allocated with the election of Silvi Kirilov".

This is how he answered before BNT a question about ministerial seats in exchange for support to Assoc. Natalia Kiselova for Speaker of the Parliament, Vladimir Georgiev - MP from BSP.

"For us, Silvi Kirilov's candidacy meant that elections should be held immediately, we propose Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova, so that the parliament can function, so that constructive decisions can be made, laws can be entered immediately, for the amendment, including those people whose mandates have expired, we are talking about an ombudsman, we are talking about the deputies of the Audit Chamber etc. There were absolutely no such conversations with us," said Vladimir Georgiev.

He emphasized that BSP nominated Assoc. Kiselova for Speaker of the Parliament, not for acting Prime Minister and recalled that "BSP-United Left" have filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court for the illegality of the elections and for the return of the powers of the president regarding the official cabinet.

"We propose Nataliya Kiselova, but we propose her for the Speaker of the National Assembly, we hope that the Supreme Court will come out with a decision in a timely manner and that this home book no longer exists,", the deputy summarized.

Vladimir Georgiev, who is the former mayor of Samokov, commented that it is time for the work of the parliament to begin.

"You know, you will allow me, me and from the local self-government, coming and it made a very strong impression on me, entering the parliament. When we fight in local elections, the moment the results come out, you don't become the mayor of one or the other, but of all. This political talk stops. Municipal councils at a local level are much more colorful than a national parliament. However, we are finding how to make a majority and start working immediately for the people, for adopting a budget.

It struck me that in parliament people keep talking as if they are still in an election. And I am very unpleasantly surprised to see that they continue to make choices inside. And we still went there to do some work. We are very aware in "BSP - United Left" our place. They assigned us a fifth such with 20 deputies. The rest of the parliament are right-wing parties. The second thing that was a surprise to me, the president gave enough time to talk, to see. I saw that they entered the hall without speaking to each other. Without having spoken to each other so far, without understanding each other about some basic and important votes."

According to him, people do not want elections.

"People want to somehow sit down, to work constructively...- I think we all appreciate the state the country is in. And I must tell you that absolutely in this style we took a supra-party approach, proposing Nataliya Kiselova for the Speaker of the National Assembly. A non-party candidate, but part of our political and parliamentary group. A candidate who is an outstanding professional, prepared. If we abstract even just from who made the proposal and put the names on one table - I am convinced that most people will be convinced that this is the person who in many interviews, in public appearances shows his position, shows including very hard and peppery questions in parliament there are, what solution can be found. And that is why we continue to defend this candidacy to the end, which for us is indisputable and which for us will take a very good step in order to have a functioning parliament."
