Pleven is again on water mode, the VIK announced. After the appointed inspection in the company on the occasion of the water regime, by "Bulgarian Waterworks Holding" EAD announced that until all facts and circumstances are established, the functions of the company's manager will be performed by chief engineer Mariana Georgieva.
In the late hours of yesterday, VIK Holding announced that they were starting to check the actions of the manager Eng. Kliment Todorov. His resignation was requested by the mayor Dr. Valentin Hristov, all data on the amount of water supplied was also requested by the chairman of the VIK Association, whose chairman is the regional governor Nikolay Abrashev.
The reason is the announced lifting of the regime on Monday, December 2, publicly in the presence of the minister, after which complaints from the people of Pleven followed that in fact there is no water again in the following days.
The mayor, Dr. Hristov, demanded that the manager of VIK apologize to the citizens because of the tension in the city related to the lack of water.
However, as of today, VIK is again introducing a regime: Water will be shut off from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Pleven and 14 other settlements. the announcement is on the official page, and letters have been sent to all mayors.
