Stefan Dechev, a former lecturer at the South-Western University signals that in the higher educational institution, serious frauds have been committed with exams and diplomas.
Southwestern University “Neofite Rilski“ (YUZU) and the rector prof. Nikolay Marin filed three lawsuits against the former professor in the "History" department. Assoc. Stefan Dechev.
The total value of the requested benefits is BGN 650,000. The reason for the filed cases are Dechev's statements to the media, in which he describes violations in the documentation of the University of Southern Georgia, discovered at the time when he was a teacher at the Faculty of Law and History there.
„It turns out that if you see a grade in a discipline that you lead, you didn't pass the exam, but it was scored, you don't have to say that. If you see that your signature is forged, you should also not announce it. If you see that your forged signature resembles the signature of the head of the department and the deputy dean of the faculty, you should not say so.“, commented Assoc. Stefan Dechev in the show “EuroDikoff“.
YUZU rejects Dechev's allegations of irregularities in the documentation.
„I just want to say that the position of the municipal councilors in Blagoevgrad, who came out with the collective declaration in defense of the university, which only harms the citizens of Blagoevgrad, makes a very unpleasant impression.“
According to him, taxis are moving to the South University, but the residents of Blagoevgrad do not receive anything from them.
“Practically, the municipal councilors are currently assisting the university and its leadership, not the citizens of Blagoevgrad.”, Dechev also commented.
