You have to keep the child in you. If the childishness leaves you, it also deprives you of the charm of the adult mind. This was stated by Prof. Boyan Biolchev on Christmas Eve in the festive edition of the program “The Day Live” on NOVA NEWS. The conversation interwoven references from the work of the writer and screenwriter Biolchev and his observations of trends in the world.
He believes that there is hope for us to preserve the childish and bright in our souls. “The hope is in ourselves - to realize that we live too short to turn our lives into accusations and dissatisfaction. "There are so many good things a person can experience, but they must have a little warmth in their soul," said Prof. Boyan Biolchev.
In his words, change is already becoming the status quo. "We rely on individual individuals, at a time when great personalities are almost nonexistent in the world. It seems that we humans have become quite a few billion on Earth and we are still moving in rows of people who do not know where we are going," said the former rector of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski."
Regarding the cases of violence in the past year, he said that these are actions of unintelligent people. "Few realize that the concept of democracy is a dictatorship of the lowlands. Don't we see something of this kind today?”, Biolchev asked.
Regarding the connection between faith and normality, Biolchev said that he sees intelligent people who have an attitude towards faith as something that shapes a person in a good direction.
He also follows the development of modern technologies. “Artificial intelligence does not write, it combines. They sent me a story made by a machine – everything is there, but the story is not there”, Biolchev said. He does not believe that machines will ever have emotions. –The ability to be happy, to be afraid of yourself – a machine will never be afraid of itself, it will always think that it is final”, said the former rector of Sofia University.
Regarding his creative activity, he said that he reaches for the computer when he already knows entire paragraphs. “I have never had a good result when I have tried to wait for enlightenment. Real literature should be ready before your decision, when you feel confident that you can write”, said the author.
”The most important thing in literature is to have a reverence for truth and an inadmissibility of fabricated truths”, said Biolchev.
